We are frequently asked about funding opportunities and scholarships at UW. There are no scholarships or grants offered directly through UW, but given the comparatively low registration fees we hope that studying at UW is affordable. Students are welcome to apply for external funding.
In addition, we try our best to help students get funding for their thesis research or other study-related projects. This can happen either through our network of instructors and their institutions or through funding programs in Iceland.
We are also frequently asked from local institutions to connect our students for individual research projects that often come with funding.
Lastly, we have been quite succesful in securing grants through the Icelandic Student Innovation Fund in recent years.
