In Ísafjörður there are several guesthouses and hotels. We have reserved some rooms for students at some guesthouses (see below). You may search for other accommodation on your own, using the websites www.westfjords.is and www.vesturferdir.is.

Gisting Áslaugar/Áslaug's Accommodation

We have reserved some rooms for students at Gisting Áslaugar/Áslaug´s Accommodation in central Ísafjörður. These are single and double rooms with basic cooking facilities and wash basins. Restaurants, a supermarket and the University Centre are within a five minute walk.

Price (18 nights): ISK 54.000 per person in a double room, sleeping bag accommodation. ISK 90.000 per person in a double room, made up bed.  ISK 81.000 in a single room, sleeping bag accommodation.  ISK 126.000 in a single room, made up bed.

Included: Accommodation in single or double rooms, towels and linen, access to washing machine and dryer for extra fee and cooking facilities.

Prices guaranteed for our students until 30. 04. 2010.  Limited number of rooms.

We have reserved some rooms for students at Gamla gisthúsið in central Ísafjörður, Mánagata 1. These are single rooms with basic cooking facilities. Restaurants and a supermarket can be found across the street, and the University Centre is within a five minute walk.

Price (18 nights): ISK 108.000 in bedroom for one.

Included with accommodation in a single room are towels, linens, access to basic cooking facilities and access to washing machine and dryer for an extra fee.
